“Grit: the power of passion and perseverance”

I agree with Ms. Duckworth’s point that grit is the key to success. Many students are talented in different subjects and seem to learn easily. However, their academic performance is not excellent because they do not put enough effort into classwork. Instead, they may prioritize other things, such as spending time with their friends and family. At the same time, other students that may not grasp new information so quickly may show higher academic achievements because they study hard. It means that their priorities make them gritty to work hard and do their best, which leads to excellent grades.
