In the following video, Mitt Romney, who was running against President Obama at the time, made statements against the retraction of work requirements from welfare policies. Romney’s campaign narrowed down the changes into what he believed to be a system that would not require recipients to work and only to receive checks. However, this was a very shallow description of the changes to the welfare reform.
