Triangulation is a process used by the social scientist when carrying out their research to enable them to measure or understand different traits of behaviors in humans which are different from each other. For example, a social researcher may take up research to study the effects of hunger in a particular society. The researcher should seek to get close results from the research and not varying results from one person to another. In addition, the results should not be manipulated by either inducing hunger to one subject while feeding the other.
