Thesis for my research paper
My research paper theme is Hypnagogic and Hypnopompic hallucinations and I basically discuss their definition and occurrence.
Do I have to use thesis in this type paper?
it seems that today teachers are obsessed with thesis and they want every paper to have them…so it is good to have a thesis in your every piece of academic writing. I think you may formulate your thesis similar to these examples:
(1) evaluation of data demonstrated a number of similarities and differences of hypnagogic or hypnopompic hallucinations
(2) the following paper will reveal the similarities and differences hypnagogic or hypnopompic hallucinations
Thesis is very important for every paper because it explains why your audience will want to read the paper. Consider the following link http://patient.info/doctor/Hypnagogic-Hallucinations. Here, you see the details you need to mention in your thesis.
Generally, you may include the glimpses from your paper into the thesis: definition of hypnagogic or hypnopompic hallucinations; when they occur; the factors that cause them; and what can be done to help a person experiencing them.
Hi! See this link http://www.aresearchguide.com/1steps.html
When you read it, you know that a research paper is more than a mere description of your research subject, otherwise it is just a descriptive essay.
So you have to talk more about other subthemes such as the influence of hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations on the human body, hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations on the human body signs, hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations risk factors, and hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations prevention.
100% thesis is a must for this paper!!!
Last year I had a similar topic and guess what !!! my mark was not good at all because the teacher said, “no thesis statement”.
Learn from my mistake!
