You will need to analyze various factors inside your chosen country (Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, or Honduras) that make their mission important to the United States nation’s security.

First, describe how you will gather information on the internal sentiments of your target country. Then, explain how you will analyze the information you gather. Answer the following:

• What pieces of information are relevant to the United States?
• What does this information tell us?
• Is it generally positive toward the United States?
• Is it generally negative toward the United States?
• Is a potential warning needed?

Next, describe the types of events or indicators that will need to be monitored for development into potential threats.
