I agree that “Probable Cause” and “Reasonable Suspicion” are appropriate standards since it allows law enforcement officers to act promptly before the suspect escapes or clears the evidence. The crucial part for these standards to apply is that the context of the circumstance or situation to be considered should justify a suspicion. That means there should be some physical evidence, reliable intel, or confessions. The law treats the arresting officers as prudent and reasonable individuals who can assess a situation and make an impartial judgment.
