It is quite difficult to identify the perspective from which the Battle of the Little Bighorn is discussed as it is discussed in quite neutral terms. However, it is possible to state that there is certain empathy with Indians. Thus, the Battle of Little Bighorn is discussed from the perspective of Indians. The author states that Indians managed to defeat European forces, which was a certain step to delay the complete defeat of Native Americans. At the same time, nothing is said about the losses of Indians. The author mentions the number of European soldiers who were killed. It is quite important to see the events from the Indians’ perspective as they saw every victory as their chance to live in their own land. For decades and even centuries, people were preoccupied with the European perspective, and Indians were seen as wild villains who killed innocent people in their lust for blood. Now people can consider both perspectives and analyze historical events taking into account the two sides. This is essential as History is the discipline that needs precision and attention to all facts available.
