Technology has impacted job variety widely together with working conditions. The impact made by technology in workplaces has been positive and negative. My point of choice in a discussion concerning technology’s impact is promoting digitalization. In workplaces, digitalization has brought both positive and negative impacts at work.
Due to mechanization, most industries have unemployed people since machines have replaced people. This has affected workers negatively since most of them have lost their jobs. The positive impact of mechanization is that work product has been high since machines don’t get exhausted easily compared to human resources.

The installation of biometric scans brought by technology has improved workers’ turn-up by reducing absenteeism since workers’ attendance is recorded daily.
