Multiplication rules for numbers with the same sign. If the numbers are positive, then their product is found in the same way as natural numbers. To multiply two negative numbers, you need to put a plus sign and multiply the modules. This means that when multiplying numbers of the same sign, it gets a positive number. To multiply two different sign numbers, you need to multiply their modules and put a minus sign in front of the resulting product.
