Some say that there have been two New Yorks: one for the wealthy and another for the destitute. Do you agree with this statement? Who is appropriate for each category?

New York City has gone through a significant transformation characterized by economic, political, and cultural changes. Such transformation has resulted in gentrification that has divided the city into two segments, one for the wealthy and another for the poor. Therefore, it is true that there is two New York, one for the wealthy and one for the destitute. The wealthy are mainly the Whites, and the destitute category is African Americans and Immigrants who are the most affected by gentrification in New York City. This is compounded by the rapid infiltration of property owners and corporate businesses into the neighborhood, which has made it difficult for small businesses and low-income families to survive.
