The Central Bank of Argentina, according to the article, concluded and made a decision that saw other banks or financial institutions stop the activities that involved foreign exchange and any purchases as November approached. Although Argentina may be one of the world’s largest countries that face such a crisis, and before freezing was done, the banks were already facing problems caused by the effects of COVID-19.

The administration tried to have a growth of the same by trying to lower the interest rates and ditching the momentary policy as one way of curbing the aspects of inflation and controlling the same. The act of pushing the interest rates attributed to the public sector in securities into totally negative territory. Without the obvious income source generation concerning the banks, this particular action deemed the future of the banks. Thus, in one way or the other, the forms through which banks used to earn income may switch to other primitive ways like in the past following the move by the central bank.
