Cecily Saunders had some interesting views for her time. Saunders was open with her practice and facilitated opportunities for international visitors. In fact, the term ‘palliative care’ was not formed until 1973 by Canadian Urological Surgeon Balfour Mount, following his visit to St Christopher’s Hospice. What do you make of her ideas?
