“Amour Propre” emerged after all the civilized people began to strive to enter destructive relationships and competitions to maintain their social status. “Amour propre,” which is artificial, depicts envy, pride, and vanity in society. The concept, which serves as the central concept of inequality in society, emerged after the community began having an increased desire for distinction, self-importance, violent competition, and a high prevalence of deceit. The unification of humankind and the development of communities led to an increased need for comparison with other human beings and a significant source of unhealthy competition. The drive to seek approval from other community members became a primary source of inequality in the modern world.
