One of my strengths is my growing confidence, and the experience gained. For instance, I had been very uncomfortable with waking patients up for medication intake. During this rotation of hours, I was very effective in this area as I had seen the consequences of taking medications later than prescribed. I knew that patients would feel much worse, so I saw this duty as a way to provide care and improve their health condition. However, I still feel at a loss when I face a non-standard situation. The interaction with the patients with behavioral issues is an illustration of the lack of experience. I was unprepared to properly react even though I had had similar experiences of treating ‘angry’ patients.
