The book of Joshua talks about the faithfulness of God and His favor towards the Israelites. He fulfilled His treaty with them when He brought them to the Land He had promised Abraham. It insists on obedience before the covenant, during, and after the fulfillment of the promises. It also encourages the people to be strong and courageous and to trust in Him in all battles, for He will fight for them.
