Along the cave, there is a wall with statues and figures of animals; however, the prisoners can see either since they are not able to move with chains. Furthermore, the only thing they see daily is their own shadows, or of people, they are trapped with. Unfortunately, prisoners are stuck in the dan without being able to move their heads, so the view in front of them remains the same: the light and the shadows.
