According to Plato, one prisoner can become free to discover a whole new world outside of the den finally. Having escaped this trap, a person might realize the fact that shadows have been fake after seeing the fire. Furthermore, this freedom will allow one to learn new facts about the world and see everything from a different perspective. The perfectly created illusion in the cave will result in a former prisoner seeking new knowledge in the real world.
