Suppose children are forbidden to express emotions vividly in childhood. In that case, it is likely that in adulthood, they will consider it strange when people make noise or loudly rejoice. Moreover, this judgment is true for most people: their behavior is determined by the standards of conduct they perceived in childhood. Accordingly, as Jacobson writes in her book, it is quite possible to consider a situation when an emotionally closed teacher will react negatively to students’ active expression of emotions. Moreover, when faced with difficult-to-correct child behavior, it is in their own experience and how their parents raised them that teachers will look for ways to influence students’ behavior.

However, such a mixture of personal and professional is unacceptable, and therefore one should separate one’s impressions and concerns from teaching practice. Those methods that may have had a positive effect on one person may be entirely inapplicable for another one. This is especially true concerning deviant behavior in children: its prevention techniques should be applied only considering all aspects of a particular personality.
