Management of an organization needs to treat HR ethically to ensure that HR positively influences the atmosphere, standards of work, and employees’ loyalty and trust in the company. As HR is the first point of contact with new hires and applicants for jobs, they can impact the decision of people to get an offer and the behavior of new employees. For instance, at Google, there was a case of HR violations when HR managers did not address workplace issues that led to employees’ protests against the company. HR managers consistently ignored complaints as they had low professional standards of work and could behave unethically, which caused tremendous negative consequences.
