In pre-Islamic Arabia, Bedouin tribes were largely dependent on cattle breeding and pastoralism. They grazed small herds of sheep, goats, horses, camels, and other animals. Also, these people received fur and wool from animals, as well as nutrients such as milk and cheese. All this helped them to survive in harsh conditions and “stay afloat.”
