One observation that Crazy Horse made about the arrival of white settlers is that they came and never returned. Although he did not see any women and children, Crazy Horse had been told stories about the families that settled in the white villages. I believe Crazy Horse’s observations were correct because they reflect how the white settlers were encroaching on the land of the Lakota people without permission.
