Personal prejudice occurs on a more intimate level in personal interactions among individuals and represents solely the perspective of the person demonstrating it. Meanwhile, institutional prejudice is more systematic and reflects broad practices and policies on a wide scale which demonstrate prejudice or discrimination in a specific organization or even society as a whole, reflecting deeply rooted biases.
