The purpose of the letter will be an attempt to influence the opinion of the editorial board and inform it about the existing error. The letter audience is an editorial team, so the letter tone is also clear and formal. To succeed in this scenario, I will write a letter following the traditional structure and be decisive about my position. It may be difficult for me to convince the editors of the correctness of my position since newspaper materials often sacrifice the reliability of the information to attract the interest of readers.
