Organizations can evaluate the present socio-economic realities by analyzing past experiences and drawing conclusions that will allow them to succeed in the future. In the 1990’s Apple was struggling as a company, both financially and otherwise. When Jobs returned as CEO, he sought to make innovative products that would be available to the everyday consumer instead of a select market. Now, Apple drives that vision forward by continuously expanding its device ecosystem.
