When people decide to have children, it is necessary for them to understand both the positive and negative sides of the matter. First of all, a child is a huge responsibility, and many people do not fully understand it until they have a baby. As a result, the child may grow up improperly educated or unloved.

Moreover, children often become the reason for their mothers’ staying in abusive relationships with their fathers because the former think that it is better for a child to live together with both parents. When speaking about the positive sides of having children, it is necessary to mention that they give their parents a huge amount of love and support and often become their best friends.

At the same time, being childless bears both positive and negative aspects. The main advantage of not having children concerns people’s freedom to do all they want and live for themselves. Apart from that, it is much easier for a couple without children to get divorced than for those who have them.

Moreover, in the case of abusive relationships, the abuser will not be able to manipulate his victim using their children. The most significant disadvantage of being childless, however, concerns the fact that people without offspring often lack support and love and try to seek it in someone else.
