The issue of human freedom is one of the major discussions in theology. On the one hand, the idea of the so-called ‘divine determinism’ presupposes that God is the cause of everything happening in the world. On the other hand, people make choices every day about every aspect of their lives. The belief that everything is predetermined and happens according to God’s plan is convenient because it takes off any human responsibility for actions and decisions. Thus, I believe that people are free to choose their destiny, free to decide whether to follow good or evil and should not count on high power.
