Inward investment has been known to have a considerable number of disadvantages to a host nation. Some of these include the creation of wrong production units that are accompanied by indecent jobs. However, my view is that inward investment provides the host nation with a good number of benefits which in turn restructure their economies. Such benefits include the provision of support to local communities, increased productivity, and improved research and development.
