As stated, MHRA received an application for a clinical trial on 23rd December 2005, and it was approved on 27th January 2006. The clinical trial was approved to be taken place at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, UK. The applicant gave supporting data to prove that the product has been adequately tested and provided information on the drug’s action. It was mandatory to obtain permission from the ethical committee, which was done. Brent Medical Ethics Committee gave a favorable opinion for the trial on 14th February 2006.
