The use of assonance, consonance, and alliteration has widely been encompassed in the poem. For instance, the use of alliteration is observed in lines one, two, and four. There is a repetition of the sound “t,” which has an impressive musicality and rhythm in the poem. Thus, this makes the poem to be more exciting and entertaining. The use of symmetry is also evident in the poem in stanza 4; in words sane and sunly, there is repletion of the sound “S.”

This style helps a reader remember the stressed words and brings out the musicality in the poem. In addition, they emphasize the theme of the poem. Vowel sounds are also employed within the poem to show the use of assonance—for instance, the use of wordless and least the vowel sound “e” has been repeated. The use of this type of style is to employ the rhythm and musicality of the poem.
