The concept of “civil dialogue” presupposes respectful, attentive, and productive communication on a controversial topic. Accordingly, this concept can improve the quality of the messages I send and receive, turning them into more fruitful ones, probably leading to new discoveries and knowledge. This concept implies communicative strategies for a conscious and correct discussion of an ambiguous issue and requires a desire for active listening and active learning.
