How does Spinoza handle the matter of free will?

There is no free will, Spinoza thinks. One must come to terms with their limitations and the way the world is and reach a kind of freedom by learning to love God and nature. Freedom also manifests itself in a person’s ability to free themselves from the tyranny of passions, emotions, and fears. To better understand the necessity of things is the way to do that.
