Additionally, the recruitment of craftsmen from all over the world provided China gained access to goods that it never had access to before. For example, Mongols loved a particular type of textile that was produced by a number of weaving communities. Eventually, these communities were moved to the country from Persia and Central Asia, and Chinese people were given the opportunity to enjoy articles of this material.
