The most common types of managerial leadership include autocratic, democratic, transformational, strategic, and transactional. Their efficiency depends on the structure and ethics of the company, as well as the social skills of its managers. Managers who lead employees can be separated into strategists, individualists, diplomats, opportunists, and experts. For example, an autocratic leader is often an opportunist, as this type correlates with high control of the situation. It is essential to have the leadership style aligned with the company’s values in order to achieve the highest productivity and ensure that employees are being led towards the company’s goals.
