How a foreigner can enter the American College?

Hello! I am Irish and I would like to study in the United States.
I don’t go to college in Ireland, so there is no chance to apply for a studen visa, I guess..I’m ready to study in any college that doesn’t require visa.
Do the community colleges accept foreigners who are not the students in their homeland?
I don’t need a degree, I just really want to study abroad.
Can you recommend something?

  1. For a successful admission to an American college/University, you need to accomplish at least twelve years of the primary and secondary education in your country. In case the college accepts you, it is necessary to apply for a visa. You can’t study in the US without a student visa. It is impossible.
The standard requirements for a visa application include the evidence of possessing a sufficient amount of money to cover education and other expenses. 4 years of education in the American college will cost about $250 thousands.
The foreigners also need to take into consideration the costs of the transportation back to their country after graduation. Just a small percentage of foreigners attain the college’s financial aid. And you cannot work here with a student visa.
The only difficulty is in providing a proof that you can bear all the expenses before the college life will begin for you.

  2. In your case, it is also possible to get visa for the college attendance in the USA. There are only two basic requirements for it: the confirmation from a college, and the proof of your financial capacity to cover the education expenses.
The financial aid is not an option.
You need to be very rich, otherwise, it is hard to afford.

  3. Community Colleges accept foreign students, but they need you to have a visa as well. You can’t come to America without visa at all. For the admission to college, a student visa is required. Although it is possible, I suspect that it would be too expensive for you. For example, my Community College asks for a proof that you have $25,000 for only a year of education.
This sum is an average price for education in the USA. But health insurance, rent, study books, food, and many other expenses also need to be paid.

  4. If you have twelve years of education, the sufficient amount of money, and a the confirmation from a college then getting a student visa will not be a problem.
Albeit, the American education is expensive, it totally worth it!
