Historical Figures and Classical Virtues

Choose a historical figure (a dead person famous enough to be written about).

Show how he or she is an exemplar of one of the classical cardinal virtues in either their ancient Greek (or Latin/Christian) versions, namely wisdom (or prudence), courage (or fortitude), moderation (or temperance), or justice. Why is your selected person a good exemplar of your chosen virtue whom we should look to as a guide for our conduct?
