Must I go to the graduation ceremony?
I’m soon finishing an online high school, and I’ve been wondering if I should go to the ceremony.
I mean, do I even have to?
Will I get the diploma, say, by mail?
It seems plausible, they won’t keep my diploma, would they?
Also, I do not know the people there, I don’t think it is going to be very exciting, but I wonder if I can miss something.
It happens only once, after all =)
What do you think?
no, you don’t have to go there. yes, you’ll get the diploma.
no one needs it but you.
It’s up to you. The diploma is yours: you’ve studied, you’ve passed the exams, you’ll get it mailed if you do not come to the ceremony.
If you are not excited about it, it’s best not to go.
You don’t have to. I did attend it, and it was EPIC FAIL. When they call your name, people applaud, but with me, only ONE person did.
I HATED that day. Don’t go if you think it’s going to be awkward.
Unless you believe there’s not enough awkward in your life.
I think you do not have to attend, but you should probably make sure and ask about it in the school.
Although I doubt they’ll keep the diploma if you don’t come 😉
As for experience – this is up to you. I liked my ceremony, but I had many friends, and we spent the time together.
I don’t know if it’s as fun to go there alone.
You know, I never went to my ceremony: I used to be homeschooled, and I simply didn’t know those people.
I think you shouldn’t go if you do not feel like it.
I don’t know if I missed an expeeeeerieeence, but I do not care and never did ^^
i dont think it can be mailed, you’ll have to ask someone to bring it to you or get there yourself later.
I don’t think you should skip it just because you don’t want to, it’s immature.
I think you’ll spoil the record.
People will ask why is it that you didn’t come.
It may seem weird i think.
You don’t have to if you don’t want to. BTW, some schools may stream the graduation, check it out. Perhaps you can watch it anyway if you like.
I would say the ceremony is nothing special, but it’s up to you.
You do not have to, but inform people beforehand.
