Go beyond naming bones and their location. How would you incorporate this information to educate and potentially improve the health of a female client in your care?

Women’s health is a relatively new field that raises a variety of questions about the promotion of positive health outcomes, effective education, and prevention of diseases among female patients. Despite the fact that many people like to think that the skeletal systems of men and women are almost similar, it is important to understand that there are factors that can easily disprove this position. Compared to men, women are challenged by a period known as menopause. As soon as menstrual periods stop (approximately at the age of 50 years), regular production of estrogen and hormones differs, causing new activities and changes in bone structures. As a result, women are at higher risk of osteoporosis and its consequences. Nutrition and weight-bearing exercises are recommended to predict complications like hip fractures.
