Understanding how the agency operates internally provides the social workers with the basic rules and regulations. They enable social work practitioners to work following the rules and regulations of the agency. Learning the external operations of an agency allows a social worker to know how to relate with other stakeholders. These stakeholders may include the community, other organizations, and so on.
