Descriptive statistics depict a set, while logical statistics take a sample of people for a specific model and generalize it to the entire group. Descriptive statistics are collected, for example, when local government elections take place. The inferential statistics are used to study the selected percentage of people from the total amount. For example, how men aged 18 to 65 years related to smoking.
