Explain and evaluate David Hume’s arguments against induction (including the notion of the role the principle of the uniformity of nature plays in the argument) and also arguments against cause and effect.

In his book “Treaties,” David Hume did not mention anything like induction. However, his argument is based on the idea of causal connections. He argues that the causal connections lead humans beyond the immediate impressions created by sense and memory. All reasoning is divided into probabilistic, demonstrative, and deductive. Through these divisions, there is the generalization of causal reasoning. Hume says that if all matters are based on causal relations, then there must be a way of showing the validity of induction. He argues that this is the idea of uniformity.
