Elements of Business and Career Development Strategy

A good business strategy has the following elements: a simple, long-term goal; an understanding of the competitive environment; knowledge of strengths; plan to reach a goal. Apply these four elements of strategy to reaching your career goal.

How will you make the administration course contribute to or fit into your career strategy? Be as specific as possible rather than an expectation to add to your general knowledge base (which hopefully will happen). Consider an instance when you observed or experienced a business practice that you thought was less than optimal. What did you do, or might you have done, to make the situation more effective for the business (and therefore its customers)? Provide the arguments.
