Discuss Two Works by a Contemporary Artist

Choose a contemporary artist presented in the PBS series ART:21. Then, select two works by the artist to address the following questions using detailed description of the chosen artworks:

1. What medium/media does this artist primarily use? If more than one, how does s/he successfully combine various artistic media and disciplines to communicate the meaning of her or his work?
2. What social and/or personal issue does this artist deal with in his or her work? How does s/he make us think about this issue through the forms s/he makes?
