Discuss the legislation of Muslims.

Sharia is a Muslim law based on the Koran and Sunnah. Sharia law covers all spheres of Muslim life. Islam does not distinguish between secular and religious spheres of life. Therefore, the legal system of most Muslim countries is based on Sharia. In countries where Islam is the state religion, Sharia acts either instead of civil laws or along with them. In secular states, Muslims themselves try to adhere to the norms of Sharia. They read prayers, pay a religious tax, and visit Mecca.
