FLSA act of 1938 was significant in the country by ensuring people are entitled to a minimum wage and an overtime payment in cases where an employee works past eight hours a day. The act enabled immigrants working within the states to have ordinary income. It also allowed African American workers to receive good wages depending on the hours worked. Generally, the agreement made minority groups faceless exploitation like overworking. Furthermore, it managed to reduce child labor in the country. The deal made it possible for employees to receive the agreed salary, which enabled them to boost their economic development, reducing the effect of depression.
