The effectiveness of performance on an interprofessional team is primarily conditional upon the cooperation of its members and their willingness to contribute to resolving different issues. According to Reising et al., communication skills are critical for the successful outcomes of such initiatives. Meanwhile, the results of collective efforts also depend on the accuracy of procedure performance, which means that discussions of problems should be guided by their appropriate planning. From this standpoint, the inclusion of these two factors is required to ensure the efficiency of work.
The principal strengths in this regard are greater capability in ensuring patient safety, better outcomes of treatment, and building connections with other colleagues. In this respect, there are several areas for improvement that can be applied to the activity of any nursing specialist. Thus, one should consider developing empathy towards other employees in order to timely find solutions to problems.
