Domestic policy under President Reagan includes the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. This important regulation developed a structure for its execution and established a basic right to a healthy workplace.
Regarding international policy, Reagan quickly ordered American troops to seize the Caribbean island of Grenada in 1983, causing Caribbean revolutions. According to some experts, this was done to draw attention away from the catastrophe in Lebanon.
