When evaluating the worth of a work of art, the ethical perception of that work of art may be taken into account. What may be stated about a piece of art’s ethical value, how it should be appraised, and its societal ramifications are all influenced by the perspective taken.

For instance, Mane’s paintings departed from the accepted standards of his time and were perceived critically in terms of aestheticism and culture. The spectator of a work of art can be critical because of its moral or political message, theoretically implying ethical differences between persons.

Chicago’s “The Dinner Party,” for instance, can be assessed from the different ethical and cultural perceptions through time. Even though it is sometimes inevitable to connect a piece of art’s ethical messages with the aesthetics and culture, the controversy should be viewed through different lenses considering the social or historical context.
