Setting performance goals, I would clearly indicate what I expect my team to do. Providing feedback in my performance reviews on the performance of team members, I would be positive and optimistic about things. I would acknowledge improvements in the work of every team member, even if the actual fulfillment of the task falls short of my expectations. At the same time, I would indicate areas that need improvement and express my belief that my team would do better next time.
