Aram Khachaturian composed his famous Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano in G Minor in 1932 while being a student. However, the researchers’ and performers’ interest in this composition is significant even today because of the inimitable maturity of the work and the use of rhythmic devices and melodies that are characteristic of all other pieces written by Khachaturian. Much attention should be paid to examining the rhythmic and harmonic elements of this composition as a perfect example of the chamber music that was typical of the early part of the twentieth century.
