Describe the components of the geocentric view of the universe that was held by the early Greeks. How did Ptolemy account for the motions of the celestial bodies in his model?

Early Greeks believed that the Earth was spherical and was positioned at the center of the Universe, with seven wanderers (the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) orbiting around it. Ptolemy accounted for the motions of the celestial bodies in his Ptolemaic system model, which placed the planets and other solar bodies like the Sun and the Moon moving around a motionless Earth in circles.
